Meet the staff:

Graeme-Shepherd

Graeme Shepherd BVM&S MRCVS

As well as his veterinary duties Graeme is manager and clinical director of the practice with more than 20 years experience. He is particularly interested in companion animal surgery and orthopaedics. When not working he is keen on dog walking and the occasional game of tennis.

Alison Shepherd

Alison Shepherd BVSc MRCVS

Alison is particularly keen on companion animal critical care and radiology, as well as her long-standing interest in horses. Looking after her little boy and further studying fills the rest of her time.

Christina Finch

Christina Finch BVSc MRCVS

Christina is a dedicated companion vet with a special interest in feline medicine and any of the more complex medical cases. Christina spends her spare time walking her Sheepdog, riding her pony and chasing her toddlers.

Tom Bury

Tom Bury BVSc MRCVS

Tom is a talented all rounder. When he’s not working he is striving to be the next Johnnie Wilkinson on the rugby field.

Adam Reeves

Adam Reeves BVSc MRCVS

As well as his interest in companion animals, Adam is particularly keen on his cattle work. His recent qualification brings youthful enthusiasm to the practice.

Amy Barritt

Amy Barritt BVSc MRCVS

Amy has had a couple of years experience in small animal practice before joining our practice. She has fitted into our team ethos extremely well and performs a very high standard of clinical care, both medically and surgically.

Karen Wade

Karen Wade BVSc MRCVS

Karen has a wealth of experience and knowledge, having worked in small animal practice for many years. Her particular interest is soft tissue surgery.

Stacey Lunn

Rod Cowlin BVSc MRCVS

Rod is well known in the area having worked as a companion animal vet locally for over 40years. Rod is available most Saturday mornings for consultation.

Hayley Griffiths RVN, Dip HE CVN

Hayley has been in the practice since 2003, having qualified in 2008 and became Head Nurse in 2009. She has recently gained a Diploma in Higher Education in Clinical Veterinary Nursing and is currently studying towards her Advanced Veterinary Nursing Qualification, specialising in Surgical Nursing, Theatre practice and Anaesthesia. She is also a clinical coach and nutritional advisor in the practice.

Stacey Lunn

Stacey Lunn BSc (Hons) RVN.

Stacey has been in the practice since 2005, having gained her qualification in 2003. She has also completed a Degree in Animal Behaviour. Stacey is Deputy Head Nurse and her main roles within the practice are Companion Animal Behaviour Advisor and she also runs Puppy Party evenings.

Alison Richardson

Alison Richardson RVN.

Alison has been in the practice since 2008 and gained her Veterinary Nursing qualification in 2007. Alison is a Trained Assessor / Clinical Coach and also arranges work experience placements within the practice.

Becky-Sivell

Becky Sivell RVN.

Becky has worked in the practice since 1993. Since then she has worked her way up to become Head Nurse, qualified in 2008, and then, following Maternity Leave, she rejoined the practice as a Veterinary Nurse and Health and Safety Advisor.

Chrissie Poke

Chrissie Poke VN.

Chrissie has been in the practice since 2007 as a trainee Veterinary Nurse and has recently qualified.

Natalie Barnes


Natalie Barnes RVN.

Natalie has been in the practice since 2007, having gained her Animal Nursing Assistant Qualification in 2003. She is now a qualified nurse after passing her exams in December 2010.

Becky Clarke

Becky Clarke SVN.

Becky has been in the practice since 2009. She has completed her animal nursing assistant qualification and first year veterinary nursing exams and is currently studying towards second year qualification.

Kirsty Addleton

Kirsty Addleton

Kirsty has been in the practice since 2008. During this time she has completed her Animal Nursing Assistant Qualification, having gained the title of Best Practical Student. Kirsty is hoping to begin her Veterinary Nurse Training in 2011.

Louise Childes

Louise Childs

Louise has been in the practice since 1978. At this time she joined as a student Veterinary Nurse. However, over the years, her role has changed and in 1990, she became a Secretary, advancing to her current role of Company Secretary. Louise is also a Driving Instructor and On-Call Fire Fighter

Aisling Averall

Aisling Averall SVN

Aisling joined the practice in 2010. She is a first year trainee nurse and is currently studing towards her veterinary nursing examinations at Pershore College.

Simone Simkin

Simone Simkin

Simone joined the practice in 2005 having gained her Animal Nursing Assistant qualification. Simone is now a receptionist, mainly dealing with office and insurance administration and has recently begun a qualification in First Line Practice Management.

Kelly Howles

Kelly joined the practice as a receptionist in 2009. Prior to this she completed an Animal Care Qualification in which she gained a Merit overall.

April Ainsworth

April Ainsworth

April joined the practice as a receptionist in 2007. Since being here she has also completed a City and Guilds Qualification in Grooming.

Leoni Powell

Leoni Powell

Leoni started at the practice in 2008 as a full time receptionist, but has since become a part time member of staff, so she could take on other roles outside the practice.

Amanda joined the practice as a receptionist in February 2011.
